Year-round residential. Quieter than downtown OOB. Real neighbors, off-season community.
Access
Residential street access with small public lots. One of the more accessible non-downtown beach access points for visitors.
Lifeguards
On duty late June through mid-August, one of the few non-downtown stretches with consistent guard coverage.
Best for
Full-time residents and families with young kids who want lifeguard coverage without the Pier crowds.
Surf and conditions
Generally moderate. Bigger than Pine Point on south-wind days; smaller than Surfside.
